Monday, April 1 - ENGLISH 8
Today we started our next unit on Short Stories. We:
1) Took a note on Plot diagram, Types of Conflict and Point of View (green sheet)
2) Got our Sightlines Text book from the Library
3) Started our first story, "Thank you Ma'am" (pg. 14). We did some pre-reading activities on the pink sheet handout on the first page.
4) After the story, did first two questions on page 3 of the handout. More with this story tomorrow.
HAVE YOUR INDEPENDENT NOVEL READ BY THIS WEEK'S DOUBLE BLOCK and the accompanying handout (Events and Story map) complete.
