Today we reviewed cell structures and learned more about DNA.
1) Intro to many of the different cell types in our body. Discussion on newer technologies that can manipulate cells and DNA
2) Go over the Cell diagram you created and labeled to ensure Organelle Function was correct.
3) DNA: What traits do you have?
4) Discussion about inheritance and dominant versus recessive traits
5) Note: DNA structure
6) Practice: build a DNA molecule, label the components, then write down in point form how the protein that the sequence codes for would be created in the cell (which organelles are involved?).
No homework.
