Today we started our second part of the Ecology Unit: Cycles of Matter. We are starting with the Water Cycle.
We:
Discussed how much accessible fresh water there is on the planet (only .3%)!!!, differences with access to water around the world and took a look at our own Greely Watershed online.
Next:
- reading about the Water Cycle, fill in the blanks worksheet about the changes of state of water, video and a note all on the water cycle.
- Finally, you all created a Comic Strip about the life cycle of a water droplet. (We may have a bit of time on Friday to polish these up. DUE Monday).
- "TEST" on Friday - We reviewed how to create a concept map or mind map.... this is a big part of your "test".
