We have begun our Ecology unit.
Thursday:
- Learned some scientific vocabulary related to the study of Ecosystems.
- Learned how to make a good hypothesis to test
- Then we went outside and sketched the forest ecosystem and practiced asking questions and making hypothesis based on our question
Friday:
- Food chains, Food webs and the interrelatedness of organisms within an ecosystem. We:
- watched a video on the wolves of yellowstone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysa5OBhXz-Q
- short note on energy transfer within ecosystems
- Started our Station Rotation activity - we will finish this on Monday.
